Production of the film is complete!

On December 8, 2011, in News & Updates, by admin

Hello Everyone,

I apologize to everyone for the length of time it has been since my last update on the film! I have been very consumed with the production and now post-production of the film – but that is not an excuse for not keeping all of you updated on the status of the film and where we are headed! So here is the latest…

If you follow the film’s Facebook page you are aware that we finished production in early November and have now moved on to post-production! After 2-years in development this is a HUGE accomplishment. The shoot went incredibly well – we had fantastic weather (we shot outside all week) a phenomenal crew, and our actors did such an incredible job. There were some highly emotional moments on set that I know will translate to really powerful moments in the film. I can’t thank everyone involved in the production enough for their dedication to the mission of the film and to the making of the film. It means a lot.

Here is a picture of the cast and crew on the last day of filming wearing our awesome From Hell to Here crew t-shirts:

I am very excited to be able to show all of you the finished film when it is complete. I hope to have screenings in multiple cities and have plans to enter the film into some of the top film festivals. Additionally, a discussion guide will be created by a VA Psychologist to go along with the film so that this project will be a valuable tool for mental health practitioners, religious organizations and veterans organizations who’s goal is assist and support veterans and their families who are battling Post Traumatic Stress.

We are now in the midst of post-production of the film which includes, editing, creating an original score, layering in sound effects, graphics etc. This process will take a few months to complete and will require us to raise some more money to complete it. We would love and appreciate your support so that we can get this film made as soon as possible, so if you can, please consider a secure online contribution by filling in the form to the right of this post, or you can send a check to:
